📖 This Week's Story

During Lent, we focus on three things: praying, fasting, and GIVING. Giving means sharing what we have with people who need it. Jesus once watched people putting money in the offering box at the temple. Rich people put in a lot. But then a poor widow put in just two tiny coins. Jesus said: "She gave more than everyone else! Because she gave everything she had." You don't need to be rich to give. You can give your time — play with a lonely friend. You can give your kindness — say something nice to someone. You can give your help — do a chore without being asked.
