📖 This Week's Story

Jesus told a story about a farmer who went out to plant seeds. He threw the seeds everywhere! Some fell on the hard path — birds came and ate them. Some fell on rocks — they started to grow but died quickly because the roots couldn't go deep. Some fell among thorns — the thorns choked them. But some seeds fell on good, rich soil. These seeds grew strong and tall and produced lots and lots of fruit! Jesus explained: the seeds are God's words, and the soil is our hearts. If we listen carefully, are patient, and take care of what God teaches us, those teachings will grow and grow in our hearts — like beautiful plants in rich soil.
