📖 This Week's Story

Today we hear one of the most beautiful stories in the Bible. God sent the angel Gabriel to visit a young woman named Mary — in Armenian we say "Mariam." Gabriel said: "Don't be afraid, Mariam! God has chosen you for something very special. You will have a baby boy, and you will name him Jesus — Hisoos. He will be the Son of God!" Mariam could have said no. She could have been too scared. But she was brave and trusted God. She said: "Let it be as God wishes." That "yes" changed the whole world.
