📖 This Week's Story

Ten days after Jesus went to heaven, something incredible happened. The disciples were all together in one room, praying. Suddenly, a sound like a mighty wind filled the house! Then they saw what looked like little flames of fire resting on each person's head. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit — "Soorp Hokee" in Armenian. The most amazing thing? They could suddenly speak in languages they had never learned! People from every country who were visiting Jerusalem could understand them! The Holy Spirit gave them the courage to go out and tell the whole world about Jesus. This day is called "Hokegaloosd" — Pentecost. It's the birthday of our Church!
