📖 This Week's Story

Long ago, Armenians didn't have their own alphabet. A monk named Mesrop Mashtots prayed to God for help. God inspired him, and in the year 405, Mesrop created the Armenian alphabet — 36 beautiful letters! The very first sentence he wrote was: "To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight." Thanks to Mesrop, we can read the Bible, write poetry, and keep our language alive. Every Armenian letter is a gift from God.
